Thanks for meeting me so late. I wanted to meet this morning but I was just too busy with family stuff. I had a fun-filled day of Girl Scouts and Halloween parties. Then I watched The Walking Dead season 7 premiere. And I am not okay. I am emotionally drained. Don’t worry, I will not give spoilers. I will warn you, however, that it is a rough one.
Given that it is late on Sunday evening (and I have work tomorrow morning) and I am shell shocked from The Walking Dead, this will be a short coffee date. I really just wanted to check in since I missed coffee share last week (and my Facebook page was kind enough to remind me that I hadn’t posted in 14 days. So helpful).
Much to my dismay, the Chicago Cubs have made it to the World Series. Being that they are long-standing rivals to my beloved Cardinals, I do not want to see them win. I lived in Cleveland for several years so I am rooting for the Indians.
November is almost here! Are any of you going to participate in NaNoWriMo or NaBloPoMo? I did NaBloPoMo last year. It was hard but it was a good experience. I haven’t decided if I am going to do it again this year. I wish I had the time for NaNoWriMo but I don’t. Some day.

You might be the only person I know that is sad that the Cubbies got in lol.
It’s so funny to me because I don’t follow TWD but I can tell something crazy and upsetting happened because my Facebook is blowing up!

LOL, most of St. Louis is sad the Cubs got in. Facebook is definitely blowing up. TWD was just brutal and devastating.

We did the blogging November thing together last year! It was a blast, but lots of work. I’m contemplating trying again, but actually have some traction on the second draft of my book, so I may do some NaEdBlaMo or something like that. (I really dislike these November acronyms.) Lets do something together and we’ll hold each other accountable.

not a follower of TWD but saw a clip in FB of what happened to Glen. horrible, just horrible.
nothing much to tell but only about ‘the beloved’ 🙂

It was really terrible what happened to Glen. Especially sad since he had been a character on the show since season 1 and was definitely a favorite of many. I loved him. So very hard to watch.

Hubs and I are done with TWD after that episode. I get they’re just following the comics and the comics could be brutal, but that was off the charts. No thanks. On a happier note, I just found out tonight that NaBloPoMo is on and I’ve already signed up. Looking forward to it!

My husband is done with TWD also. That episode was too much for him. Kudos for signing up for NaBloPoMo!
